The Zagreb Puppet Theater nurtures a long tradition of staging classic fairy tales, believing that each new generation must experience them again. Snow White is definitely one of those stories.

The king is old, and the king’s weakness means the poverty and powerlessness of the whole kingdom. Along with him, fortunately, is his old, loyal military leader, who now performs the ceremonial duty of court master of hunting. But even he will not be able to prevent the king from making a disastrous decision: to marry a rich beauty from abroad. With her arrival, the well-known competition of the queen with a magic mirror and black magic and Snow White and her seven dwarfs begins. The queen was a tailor of her own destiny, but Snow White will also have to mature from a somewhat vain queen on a pea into a responsible and selfless white queen, who will rejuvenate the kingdom and rule with her prince on a white horse.
