From April 24 to 28, 25 thousand dogs from all over the world will gather

From April 24 to 28, the Zagreb Fair will host the largest canine event in the world – the World Dog Show, which will gather dog lovers from 79 different countries, while visitors will be able to see almost 25 thousand dogs and almost 400 breeds. This will be the first time that the world exhibition is held not only in our country but also in the wider region.

On Thursday, April 25, the first day of the World Exhibition begins and visitors will be able to enjoy from 8 am to 4 pm a large number of different sheep and shepherd dogs, birders and greyhounds. Exhibitors come from almost 80 different countries of the world, the largest number of exhibitors are from Italy, Poland, the Czech Republic, Hungary and Australia, South America and the USA.

At the same time on Friday, terriers, hounds, retrievers, spaniels and water dogs will be judged. Saturday is reserved for spitz and primitive dogs, and for companion dogs and dwarf dogs, while on Sunday pinschers, schnauzers, molossers, Swiss mountain and shepherd dogs, and dachshunds will be seen. Every day from 16:00 to 19:00 the most beautiful dogs in various categories will be chosen in pavilion 5.

At the exhibition, it will be possible to see some extremely rare breeds that, due to their special status in their countries, where they are considered a protected national treasure, have almost never been seen outside the borders of their home countries.

Children up to the age of twelve have free entry.
