Days of open cellars of Osijek-Baranja County

The Osijek-Baranja County Tourist Board and the Osijek-Baranja County are organizing a real wine hedonism – Open Cellar Days, which will take place from 12.06. to 07/11/2020 held in four vineyards, according to the principle – "4 vineyards, 4 weekends of wine hedonism", while the finale will be held in Osijek, with the Evening of Wine and Art, one of the largest wine events in Osijek-Baranja County.

The days of open cellars begin with a three-day event in the Baranja vineyards. Visitors will be able to enjoy the open cellars of great Baranja winemakers, while those who want more wine experience have the opportunity to participate in the educational program "Small School of Wine". Photography lovers can take part in the "Photo Wine Safari" where they will explore the secrets of wine roads, cellars and magical Baranja landscapes.

Wine hedonism does not go without music and good food

The music program will be held at the Catholic Surduk in Zmajevac, where Zoran Majstorović & Atma Mundi Ensemble will give the audience a fantastic journey through different cultures and traditions of the world through music. The music program will be preceded by "Poetry in a Glass", a reading of poetry accompanied by the magical flavors of Baranja wines.

Visitors to Baranja, the flagship of continental tourism, can expect pure wine hedonism – enjoying quality wines, great food, beautiful natural surroundings and top entertainment.

16.30 h / Poetry in a glass – reading poetry

Vinska cesta – Katolički surduk, Vinski podrum Tűr (Planina 191, Zmajevac) Indulge in poetry that goes perfectly with this fine Baranja wine, and for prose lovers there will be sketches from the most beautiful Baranja travelogues. With verses and written lines, we will walk through the fields of Baranja, swamps and surduks, all from the wine cellar – gator!

5.30 pm / Concert: Zoran Majstorović & Atma Mundi Ensemble

Vinska cesta – Katolički surduk, Zmajevac “Atma Mundi Ensemble” is conceived primarily as a continuous collaboration of Croatian and foreign musicians who travel through world music with their rich instruments and evoke that journey to listeners. Croatian musicians Zoran Majstorović (guitar, oud, ukulele, saz) and Borko Rupena (drums, percussion) and their Italian colleagues Simone Serafini (double bass) and Mirko Cisilino (trumpet) guarantee the audience a fantastic journey through different cultures by performing songs inspired by music from different parts of the world. and traditions of the world …
