Animafest Zagreb 2021 presents selected short, student and Croatian films
The 31st edition of the World Festival of Animated Film – Animafest Zagreb will be held in Zagreb from 7-12. June 2021
Out of almost 1800 submitted films from 83 countries, the World Festival of Animated Film – Animafest Zagreb proudly presents the official selection of selected films in the categories of Grand Short Film Competition, Student Film Competition and Croatian Film Competition.
In addition to the artistic director of the festival, Daniel Šuljić, Margit Antauer and Thomas AnimJohnson participated in the selection committees in the selection of films for the Grand Short Film Competition and the Croatian Film Competition, and Lucija Bužančić and Lea Vidaković selected films in the Student Film Competition category.
In the Grand Short Film Competition category alone, 820 films were entered
In the category of the Grand Short Film Competition alone, 820 films were submitted and 44 were selected. In the Student Film Competition, 45 films were selected from more than 840 entries, and 23 films were included in the Croatian Film Competition.
