A garden where you can socialize and eat for less than 30 kn.
In the huge park behind the famous restaurant RougeMarin , at Folnegovićeva 10, the Beer Garden has opened! “We have that 2,000-square-foot park and we wanted to do something there, use that space,” says chef Marin Medak.
“The idea for the Beer Garden developed before the opening of RougeMarin, but it has never come to life. Now, in the time of the pandemic and getting used to the new normal, the idea imposed itself, so this time we started the realization ", explains Medak.
The beer garden offers dishes up to 30 kuna
The point of the Beer Garden is to make what is on offer accessible to everyone.
"We want to provide each guest primarily with a sense of security, and then enjoy eating outdoors in nature. The offer in the beer garden is in line with the crisis, which means that we offer lager beer at an affordable price. For example, we combine 0.5L lager beer for 15 kuna with a 100g beer burger for 28 kuna and the whole offer goes in that direction. ” – says Medak
Enjoying food with the maximum distance of guests
Rougemarin beer garden covers 2,000 square meters and it is essentially an extension of the bistro on Folnegovićeva, which allows maximum distance between guests.
"We want to provide each guest primarily with a sense of security, and then enjoy eating outdoors in nature. The beer garden allows us the maximum distance between guests. So far, we have set up 20 sets for two people and three larger tables for 4 to 6 people under the dome. There is room for expansion if more table is needed ”.
The beer garden is a kind of extension of RougeMarina. The offer will vary, as will the opening hours. Namely, while RougeMarin is open daily from 12 to 11 pm, the Beer Garden will be open from Monday to Friday after 5 pm, on Saturdays all day and on Sundays during lunch.
