News from Advent that will delight both young and old

Art installations, outdoor performances and children's workshops

In the third weekend of Advent Zagreb, more precisely on Friday, December 15 and Saturday, December 16, two more announced events will begin. Thus, on Friday, starting at 8 p.m. , the Ball on Mažuranc will begin, where Marko Tolja will perform, and until December 31, various other musicians and DJs will perform, among which we single out the Melita Lovričević jazz quartet, on December 16 from 8:30 p.m. , and the Lado ensemble, on December 19 from 7 p.m.

The " Big Big Christmas " art installation has already been installed on Svačić Square, which includes literally – big Christmas sculptures.

In the Ribnjak park, on Saturday, December 16, the Ice Fairytale will open its doors – the most fun and crystal-clear park specially designed for children , where shows and workshops will be held at certain times. In addition to the Moon Garden, which this year was moved from Gornji Grad to Ribnjak Park, you will be able to enjoy all the Advent content until January 7.

The familiar magic is back

For those who somehow missed it, this year the interior of the Grič tunnel has been transformed into a "polar dream", i.e. a beautiful winter installation that takes your breath away.

And in addition to the Ball in Mažuranac and the Ice Fairy Tale in Ribnjak, performances of the Living Nativity in Opatovina will begin on Saturday, December 16. Every weekend until January 6, 2024, wonderful shows await you in three dates that will delight both young and old.
