HNK in your neighborhood continues its tour of Zagreb

After the extremely successful first cycle of the Croatian National Theater in your neighborhood, the Croatian National Theater in Zagreb will continue with concerts in Zagreb's neighborhoods in the next two weeks.

The Croatian National Theater in your neighborhood started with musical events on May 4, giving fellow citizens the most famous arias of world operas performed by members of the Zagreb HNK Opera ensemble and giving them the opportunity to enjoy performances from their windows, balconies and neighborhoods.

In this way, the Croatian National Theater in Zagreb, until the reopening of the theater hall, managed to maintain successful communication with its spectators.

Due to the large number of requests from citizens who enthusiastically supported the project and responded in large numbers but with appropriate physical distance, HNK in your area continues to tour and will delight several other neighborhoods in Zagreb, such as Zaprudje, Trešnjevka, Ribnjak Park and Maksimir Park. (The concert on the small stage at the entrance to Maksimir Park will be realized in cooperation with the Maksimir Public Institution).

The first performance was in the music pavilion on Zrinjevac, where the soloist of the Opera Lana Kos and the champion of the Opera Ljubomir Puškarić sang with the piano accompaniment of Nina Cossetto. Then, in Travno, near Mamutica, on the plateau near KUC Travno, the audience was delighted by the champions of the Opera, Ivana Lazar and Ozren Bilušić, and accompanied on the piano by Nina Cossetto. On Sunday, May 10, Opera champion Valentina Fijačko Kobić and national opera champion Dubravka Šeparović Mušović, accompanied by Helena Borović, performed a real musical treat on Zagreb's Martićeva Street, where those present asked for an encore after the concert with loud applause. Residents of Vrban enjoyed opera performances by opera champions Ivana Lazar and Ljubomir Puškarić with piano accompaniment by Vjekoslav Babić. The last concert of the cycle was held in the park of Dr. Franjo Tuđman, where the champions of the Opera Stjepan Franetović and Tamara Franetović-Felbinger performed.
