After eight seasons and soon a hundred shows, Witch Hillary, to the delight of her youngest audience, gets a sequel. Zagreb Opera is currently preparing the play The Witch Hillary and the offended double bass based on the text by the same author Peter Lund and the music of Winfried Radeke. The director is Krešimir Dolenčić, the music director is Josip Šego, and the performers are Mirta Zečević, Ivanka Boljkovac and Tvrtko Stipić.

From Sunday, March 4, 2018, all those interested and eager for new knowledge about opera will be able to follow the new stories and adventures of their favorite opera witch in the beautiful space of the theater foyer. Through entertaining content and beautiful music, the three performers will continue to conjure up the lavish world of opera in a simple way, or as Hillary says: Opera has a story, with their lively playing and singing. Just like a movie has a story. Or a video game. Or a book. Ask me everything about opera, I know everything because Maria taught me. I may be the first witch opera doctor.
