Archived: Rally in galleries

The sixth edition of the interactive cultural event Rally by Galleries will bring together about 50 galleries in Zagreb, Rijeka and Pula on May 24, which will show art spaces, artists, collectors, curators and the general public their spaces and bring closer the work of artists exhibiting in them. Galleries and studios will offer special programs to the public during extended working hours from 5 pm to 10 pm, which include the opening of new exhibitions, guided tours through exhibitions and workshops.

This is the first cultural event in Croatia that networks almost all active art galleries in three cities, and offers visitors a truly interactive art program and the opportunity to see more exhibitions and works of art in one day than any other day of the year.

The event actively involves visitors touring the galleries , getting a map or downloading a mobile app in the first gallery, then continuing to collect map markers in each subsequent gallery, and those who manage to visit all galleries at the final location win a symbolic diploma.

In Zagreb, the Rally of Galleries starts in Meštrović's pavilion – HDLU, in Rijeka in the Kortil Gallery, and in Pula in the HUIU Gallery. The final location where diplomas are collected in Zagreb is the Kamba Garage Gallery in the courtyard of Ilica 37, in Rijeka it is the Gallery of the Student Cultural Center in Kružna 8, and in Pula the Rojc Social Center – Kotač Club in Gajeva 3. Diplomas can be downloaded for duration of the Rally in the galleries until 22:30.
