On the occasion of Zagreb City Day, on May 31, as every previous year, a number of free outdoor events are held. Sign up and prepare on time!

Open City Day All our meetings, Dolac Market; 12:00 – 12:30 – flash mob, performance by dance artists of students of the Academy of Architecture, walk in Zrinjevac, guided tour; 12:00 – 13:00 (Cooperation with the Open House Zagreb project) – expert guidance through Lenuzzi's horseshoe Secret Zagreb, Gornji Grad – guided tour; 16:00 – 17:00; 17:30 – 18:30 – Iva Silla guides you through the mystical and secret Zagreb Enchanted Forest, Park Ribnjak; 17:00 – 19:00 – stage event directed by Ivica Buljan: performers hidden in certain locations recite poetry and parts from famous dramatic texts (Shakespeare, Moliere, Čehov) and perform improvised situations from everyday life Ballet, Trg Ban Josipa Jelačića 16: 00 – 18:00 (Cooperation with the classical ballet school) – ballet program consisting of ballet exercises of excerpts from popular ballets Plesnjak, Masarykova pedestrian zone; 19:30 – 21:00 – dancer with a live band Free tours of the city for citizens of Feshtaon: EvenTura – quiz tour of the city on the theme of the movie Who Sings Evil Doesn't Think

Is there a more "Zagrebish" story than the one told in the film Who sings evil does not think? Fulir, Mina, Ana and Franjo Šafranek – these are some of the most famous characters from the Croatian film past, and EvenTura takes you to the locations where they stayed! And just as it begins in Zrinjevac, it also ends in the legendary inn in Gornji grad: with a good glass! The theme of the tour is a combination of the history of the city of Zagreb through the context of the film "Who sings evil does not think". The tour is not based exclusively on the film, but combines the history of the city through the context of the film and its growth into the city we know today. Finally, there will be a traditional Zagreb dish, the announcement of the winner of the quiz that is played on the tour (no, you don't need any preparation) and, of course, good fun.

WALKS WITH PURGERICA – Zbigecani Zagreb

Welcome to the white city of Zagreb from the beginning of the 20th century, in the era of gallant theater performances, cafes, inventors, cars driving on the "wrong" side of the road, ladies in skirt-pants with driver's licenses, secret love messages painted in purple ink and grandiose, glamorous entertainment in the company of guests from the Orient Express. Narrator Keti Klinček, a member of Zagreb's fashionable bourgeois life, takes you back to Zagreb from her time – beads, halb-cylinders, fine dresses, wacky parties, electricity in Ilica, vaudeville shows in Jurišićeva, the first car race Zagreb-Varaždin-Zagreb, and many more crazy, happy, scandalous stories are waiting for you in honor of the celebration of the day of our favorite city. Have a laugh and travel to the crazy history of Zagreb!
