Leading European experts arrive at Greencajt

The largest green festival in the region will be held on May 24 and 25 in the premises of the old Electric Light Bulb Factory and Rougemarin Park in Zagreb.
Visitors to this year's Greencajt will have the opportunity to hear the thoughts of leading European authorities who, through various expertise, will try to answer the question of how to create an environment for a sustainable future.
The leading British expert on environment and innovation, Mark Shayler , a superstar who has influenced the change of business models of many global companies with his work for decades, is coming to the stage. He will be joined by award-winning Italian economist and publicist Alessio Terzi , whose latest book was named one of the best of 2022 by Foreign Affairs. Pedro Filipe Silva, the Portuguese manager and expert in sustainable development at the company Navigator, the European leader in paper production, is coming to Greencajt.
Mark Shayler
has been cooperating with many global companies for years on the development of brands, their strategies and business models with the aim of being sustainable. He is one of the UK's most inspiring environmental and innovation experts, whose results in circular economy business models are impressive. Through his creative agency Ape, Shayler focuses on developing innovative solutions that are sustainable and contribute to environmental protection.
He has saved his clients more than £140 million with this approach. In addition, he introduced circular economy business models that led to an 8000% increase in product sales. Shayler's commitment to education is also significant and he has educated more than 2,000 people on the topic of sustainability. The list of clients he has worked with is impressive and includes Nike, Coca-Cola, Samsung, Amazon, Unilever, Panasonic, Schweppes, Mars and many others. "It's not enough to talk, we need to work on environmental awareness," said Mark Shayler as an introduction to the topic he will talk about at the Greencajt festival.
Alessio Terzi
through his work at the European Commission, the European Central Bank and as a lecturer, he focuses on the impact of climate change on development and the economy and on the ways in which societies can adapt to the changes that follow.
His political work and comments have been covered and published in leading media sources such as the Financial Times, The Wall Street Journal, BBC World News, Bloomberg, The Washington Post. Alessio is also the author of the book "Growth for Good: Reshaping Capitalism to Save Humanity from Climate Catastrophe". In it, he talks about how to restructure capitalism to protect nature and prevent climate catastrophe.
Pedro Filipe Silva
is the sustainability manager at Navigator, a European leader in the production of paper from renewable resources, with expertise in the sustainable use of natural resources and environmental protection. He has extensive experience working with companies and organizations to promote sustainable practices and reduce their environmental impact.
Pedro has experience working in the field of environmental engineering and management and has collaborated with many companies in the implementation of sustainability strategies. He also participated in research projects related to renewable energy, waste management and sustainable agriculture.
