Stara Vlaška becomes the location of a famous summer festival

With the arrival of warmer and sunny days that we have all been waiting for, the period of outdoor events also begins. Thus, on June 8, another edition of the most famous (spring) summer festival for young people begins – Beats&Bites, this time at an attractive location in the newly opened pedestrian zone in the very center of the city – Stara Vlaška Street , which will last until June 17.

The Beats&Bites festival quickly won the hearts of the audience with its youthful concept, and it is known precisely for its creative venues in the city center – in previous years it was held at the Tuškanac garage and on the beautiful Krešić meadows in the middle of the forest on Tuškanac, and this year it is moving to the lower part city center. The festival will revive the recently opened pedestrian zone in Stara Vlaška.

Beats&bites combines great music by young DJs and the finest snacks from Zagreb caterers. So at this edition of B&B, you will be able to try some of the finest burgers, cocktails, fish street food specialties, wings, spring rolls, cicchetto, but also sweeten yourself with the finest homemade pancakes and doughnuts .

As for the entertainment program, the repertoire will include some of the currently most popular young local DJs, and every evening visitors can expect a themed music evening. The festival will also offer various activities during the day and in the early evening hours, so visitors will be able to try their hand at a general knowledge quiz, or sign up for one of the bela or beer pong tournaments.

From the restaurateurs, Bit burger will be presented at this festival with various versions of burgers, including a vegan option, as well as the Shank house with wings, strips and other small snacks. Tunaholic restaurant, which has restaurants in Rovinj, Trogir, Zagreb and Belgrade, will be presented for the first time, as well as the Kužina house, which will offer, among other things, pulled pork sandwiches and spreads.

Palačinke.hr and Crofna will be responsible for the sweet offer at the festival, which will present us very interesting donuts with various fillings such as Kinder Buena, Nutella, etc. Cicchetti is a tapas bar that will also premiere in the festival version, in collaboration with Tipsy which already traditionally refreshes visitors with excellent cocktails with interesting names and ingredients. Mangosta will also be responsible for refreshing thirsty palates with a very rich offer of alcoholic and non-alcoholic cocktails and drinks.

Along with Mlinar's new plant-based products, cold Bavarija, Jamnica, Kutjevo and Hendricks wines with Thomas Henry and perfect Kotanyi spices.

The working hours of the festival are from 16:00 to 23:00 during the week, on Fridays and Saturdays until midnight, and on Saturdays and Sundays from noon.
