The 35th Gavella evenings begin

Public theaters and theater communities in the Republic of Croatia can participate in the Festival, as well as theaters based outside the Republic of Croatia, which cultivate a dramatic repertoire. Plays whose premiere took place from September 1 of the previous year to June 15 of the current year can participate. The plays that will be presented at "Gavella evenings" are selected by the Program Council, which includes the director, playwright and executive producer of GDK "Gavella".
At the end of the Festival, a three-member judging panel, composed of two prominent theater workers from Croatia and one from abroad, awards four awards: for the best female or male role, for the best direction, and for the best performance of Gavella's Evenings.
