Mushroom Museum

Just a few steps from the main square of Zagreb, not far from the hustle and bustle of the city, mushroom lovers find their refuge. So they enter the silence of the mushroom world for a moment, let themselves be conquered and bewitched for who knows how many times by these beauties who climb on the stands, adjust their hats, pull their dresses, pose, flirt.

They deceive visitors, confuse with their resemblance, their abundance, and as if to say we were glad, come to us again. Currently, there are over 900 different types of mushrooms in the windows of the Mushroom Museum. A certain amount of samples is waiting for lyophilization, and valuable mushroom pickers tirelessly visit their "gardens" in search of beautiful specimens, which will become museum exhibits.
