At the entrance to the Birthplace there is a stone landmark showing the places where Nikola Tesla stayed during his life with signposts where they are located in relation to Tesla's Birthplace and the distances in kilometers by air.

In the Birth House there is a permanent multimedia exhibition created by the Croatian History Museum and the Technical Museum in Zagreb with the coordination of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Croatia. On the ground floor of the house, the life and genius of the great inventor are depicted in pictures, words and sound, and the historical events that follow his life are woven into the ribbon of time. In the attic of the house there are replicas of Tesla's inventions that changed the world forever and are still the basis for the latest technologies.

The test station is a replica of Tesla's laboratory in Colorado Springs, where he stayed from 1899 to 1900. There he conducted numerous experiments with high-frequency currents, wireless energy transmission, and studied lightning. He researched the transmission of information and energy over a distance without a guide. During his stay there, he managed to transmit signals to New York and turned on 200 light bulbs 40 miles away.

Demonstration of the work of the Tesla coil is held at the following times: 10:00, 12:00, 14:00, 16:00, 18:00 and 19:00.

Inside the Multimedia Center there is a conference hall designed for meetings, congresses and workshops. A documentary about Tesla's life is shown in the hall every time after the demonstration at the test station. There is also a souvenir shop where you can buy and take with you the memory of the great inventor and his native Smiljan. There is also a sanitary block within the building.

The "Nikola Tesla" Smiljan Memorial Center covers an area of 13,674 square meters.
