Peščenica Cultural Center

The KNAP Theater is a young, energetic theater founded in 2005 within the KNAP Center, which has already managed to get involved in the very focus of theatrical events with its first performances.

The KNAP Theater is focused on contemporary stage expression based mainly on recent Croatian literature. KNAP nurtures themes that are relevant to the space and time in which we live, and the features of our repertoire are performances full of humor but at the same time full of emotional and intellectual charge that do not leave anyone indifferent.

The performances of the KNAP Theater are of a chamber character, but they push the boundaries of theater, especially acting and directing skills. The demanding criteria we set for ourselves and the top artists we work with have enabled our performances to participate in the most prestigious festivals in Croatia, where we have won a total of 30 awards so far.
