Support for cancer patients
The race has its own humanitarian character every year, and this year the partner of the race will be the Association of Women Suffering from and Treated for Cancer "We are not alone", which organizes various forms of support for women with cancer. Part of the funds from the paid registration fees of the race will be donated to the Association, which will use them for its project "You are not alone, you are going with us", which provides free transportation for women with cancer to chemotherapy.
The goal of the race is to promote positive life habits and encourage physical activity, especially running as one of the healthiest ways of recreation, in the best company.
So far, almost 9,000 citizens have run
Zagreb Advent Run 2021 is the sixth edition of the race, which in previous years gathered more than 8,500 participants, which significantly helped Zagreb to position itself at the same time on the sports and holiday tourist map of Europe.
With the aim of promoting a better quality of life, caring for health and spreading motivating messages about how we must find in ourselves what drives us, as part of this year's ZAR, a campaign called # onoštomepokreće was launched. Using the hashtag #onostomepokrece on social media, everyone is invited to share positive content and the moments that drive them to motivate and positively influence the people around them.
On epidemiological necessities
It will be possible to participate in the race by presenting an EU digital COVID certificate, which can be obtained by vaccinating a person, people who have had Covid-19 in the last 180 days or people who have a negative PCR or antigen test in the last 48 hours.
