In three weeks, the streets, squares and sports fields of Karlovac will become meeting places where various festivals and numerous individual programs, concerts, exhibitions, sports competitions and fun and educational workshops for the youngest will be held.

In the atrium of Karlovac's Old Town Dubovac, the contents of this year's Star Summer, a manifestation of the City Day celebration, which begins on June 23rd with a grand opening in front of the City Theater Zorin Dom and lasts until the birthday of the city of Karlovac, July 13th, which will be celebrated with a traditional birthday ball and a concert by Jelena Rozge .

Open Air Tribute band festival will be held from 29.6. until 1.7. also in Karlovac will bring faithful interpreters of the legendary groups Guns'n'Roses, Rolling Stones and Abba, while the Karlovac Theater Festival will host HNK Ivan pl. Zajc from Rijeka, Kerekesh theater, Moruzgva Theatre, Tragači Theater and B-glad production with performances that marked this theater season. The International Folklore Festival and the Flavors of the World festival bring representatives of Georgia, Turkey, Spain, Indonesia, North Macedonia and Burundi, who will bring the sounds of their traditional music, the colorfulness of their folk costumes and the indigenous tastes and smells of their cuisines through the streets of Karlovac.

Lovers of dance art will enjoy the summer edition of the Karlovac Dance Festival and contemporary dance performances by local and foreign dance groups, while the ArtiKA Festival of Good Fun, PARKING and the Green Festival will bring together different artists and expressions on various, interesting, but also educational, urban themes and workshops open to citizens.

In addition to the aforementioned festivals, the Starry Summer in Karlovac will also be marked by numerous individual concerts of various genres and themes, exhibitions and sports trials, as well as various fun and educational workshops for the youngest who will have the opportunity to learn something about their city, but also about ecology, music and art. .

The opening ceremony of the Starry Summer on June 23 will be marked by the performance of Sandra Bagarić , followed by the special Midsummer Bonfire program, a manifestation that has brought thousands of visitors to the banks of the Kupa River for more than 240 years.

The 444th birthday of the city of Karlovac will be celebrated with a traditional ball on July 13 , when the same number of dancing couples will dance a waltz in honor of their city. The grand finale of the celebration will be with a concert by Jelena Rozga, who will sing her biggest hits and ensure a real birthday atmosphere in the city of encounters.
