THEATER NIGHT 2023: here are the performances on offer

Ticket prices will be cheaper than usual, and the date is November 25

Hear and hear – this year's Theater Night 2023 takes place on Saturday, November 25!

We bring you a preliminary list of theaters and performances for which, if you are lucky, you will be able to buy a ticket at a lower price than usual.

ROBIJA K. NOTARY – KEREMPUH THEATER – PRICE €6

As part of Kerempuh's initiative – the engagement and affirmation of the younger generation of directors – promising director Marina Pejnović staged "The Notebook of Robija K." Viktor Ivančić, a recognized journalist and publicist, best known as one of the founders of the cult satirical and political weekly Feral Tribune.

Equally famous is the satirical column written in the form of the diary of a boy from Split, Robij K., the author's alter-ego and a merciless witness to the countless absurdities of Croatian everyday life, and this time it will realize its ironic departure and strange childlike vision on the stage of a poetically and thematically close satirical theater.

12. NIGHT OR AS YOU WANT – ZKM – PRICE €6

12TH NIGHT or as you wish, directed by Grzegorz Jarzyna, is a staging of one of William Shakespeare's most famous comedies, read from the perspective of gender roles. In Jarzyna's interpretation, the Renaissance comedy of errors becomes a contemporary story of love that crosses the boundaries of gender and sexual preferences, changing everything and everyone. As one of the characters, Olivia, says, love is like a plague that strikes unexpectedly, leaving people vulnerable. Similarly, a non-binary person is vulnerable to their true nature.

REALLY – HNK

Two actors in a hall on top of a building built in Austria-Hungary. In a space decorated in the modernist style of the 50s of the last century. In the hall primarily intended for sound recordings.

Two actors in the hall will perform an experiment. Inspired by the lectures of physicist Richard Feynman.

START – EXIT THEATER – PRICE €9.50

After a party, in a mess where every plate is used, and every glass is half empty or half full, almost a kiss. Maybe a kiss. The two of them are hungover enough from the party and tired of the past they carry. So different, yet similar in their loneliness, because loneliness is the only thing that unites them.

REM – ZPC – PRICE €5

Between reality and illusion, dreams are allegories of the subconscious created by automatic processing of information. While we sleep, we dream. We live some parallel lives. The disparity of the paralyzed, sleeping body in waking life and the "aliveness" of sleep creates a simulacrum of wakefulness. Layering becomes a source of inspiration.
