If you don't have the opportunity or desire to prophesy May Day this year, it's good that you came across this page. We bring you five suggestions for what to experience this Saturday – in Zagreb!

For May Day, however, there is some city moving

Sincerely…. when we stumbled upon this live gig, we had to rub our eyes to make sure we weren’t dreaming. On May Day, two great jazz virtuosos will have a concert at the Croatian Music Institute ?! If there’s one thing that calls for you to finish May Day in style, it’s this gig .

Another handy option to close this favorite May day is to go to the drive in cinema. And it's completely free…. if you grab a ticket in time! The film Focus with Will Smith and Margot Robbie in the lead roles will be shown at Prisavlje near the famous Kockica. It will be fun, for sure. And really…. when was the last time you watched a movie from the car on the big screen?

Some will sit and some will spend

Most of us will sit through this Saturday. They go on trips, walks, there will be a lot of sitting. So, this year, when everything is unusual, you could do something equally inconceivable – dance. Pay for a beginner and a little less beginner one-time salsa course and reduce your remorse for the May Day gluttony. Or free up space to consume a rich picnic table.

If by any chance you find yourself on Zagreb's Jarun on Saturday, don't miss a walk to the rowing club because Zagreb will host the World Rowing Cup this year! Although this year's cup will unfortunately be held without fans, you may even manage to stab some good place or look at our great rowers. They say that happiness accompanies the brave, so who knows, maybe if you really keep an eye on what is happening around the "Zagreb sea" you will earn a valuable reward! The cup starts on Friday, April 30 and lasts until Sunday, May 2, so you have the opportunity for both a preview and a rerun.

Take a bath…. but not in a sweat
