ADVENT IN KARLOVAC

Advent in Karlovac from December 2 to January 1 brings an attractive and content-rich program throughout the city to the city on four rivers with more than 80 events, free for all visitors.

Holiday atmosphere for the youngest

This year's new advent in Karlovac is a large heated dome decorated with holiday clothes, which will be a favorite gathering place for the youngest. It will be open for gatherings, workshops, performances and creating the most beautiful holiday memories, and you can find the exact schedule of the program on the official adventukarlovcu.hr website.

Craft Fair and 4th Advent Race

On Friday 15.12. the traditional Christmas craft fair begins, where visitors will be able to choose handmade autochthonous Christmas gifts, handicrafts and souvenirs.

On Saturday 16.12. the 4th consecutive Karlovac Advent race will be held, the start of which starts at the Music Pavilion at 3:30 p.m. At the same place, the announcement of the winner and the distribution of prizes will be held immediately after the end of the race. Registration is possible through the link on the page utrka.com . For those who prefer skating, the ice rink near Sokolski dom is free from 15.12. until 31.12. so fans of this winter pastime can show off their skills.

WINTER HOLIDAYS, HOLY SUNDAY

A large ice rink of 450 m2 is located in the Park below the Parish Church of the Holy Trinity. The rink will be open every day from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (except holidays) or during the skating school. In addition to the ice rink itself, there is also an Advent attraction – the longest ice slide in the Republic of Croatia of 50 meters , where the little ones, as well as the older ones, can enjoy going down.

For the smallest visitors, workshops and story rooms will be held in the library, and in the premises of the Tourist Board there will be a Christmas fantasy with appropriate reading of stories.
