Croatia to the World: A large exhibition that will soon open in Meštović's pavilion

Croatia to the World is a multidisciplinary exhibition project based on the ideas and research of Večernji list, bound in a special edition of Croats Who Changed the World.

On February 12, 2021, the exhibition Croatia to the World opens in Meštrović's pavilion , organized by Večernji list in cooperation with the Real Group, the Academy of Fine Arts and the Croatian Society of Fine Artists. The exhibition will be open until May 15, 2021.

Croatia to the World is a multidisciplinary exhibition project based on the ideas and research of Večernji list, bound in a special edition of Croats Who Changed the World. It is an exhibition of national importance whose goal is to revitalize individuals from our area who have selflessly worked and changed the world for the better through various disciplines of creation and expression.

Although Croatia can be proud of the enviable number of people who have achieved significant scientific results and reached the peak of artistic expression at the local and national levels, the exhibition Croatia to the World selected only those individuals whose work has had a concrete impact on global history.

Originality, vision, wide application of ideas and inventions were the criteria for the selection of individuals represented at the exhibition. The unique national, scientific and cultural heritage that they left us as a heritage is presented in the curatorial conception of Dr. sc. Anite Ruso.

The main guiding thought of the exhibition concept is to create links between inventive and artistic past, present and future. In the exhibition you can see various works of art, author's drawings, patents, archival documents and videos, as well as devices and devices created according to patents and ideas of deserving individuals.

The exhibition offers a comprehensive approach to branding of famous inventors and scientists, which it interprets through a broad contemporary social context in order to become recognizable to foreign visitors to the exhibition.

Artists from the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb, as well as members of the Croatian Society of Fine Artists, gave their all in the unique visual impression of the exhibition, which consists of diverse and rich material from cultural, scientific and educational institutions from all over Croatia.

At the time of the actualization of the new, digital nomadic way of life, the exhibition Croatia to the World opens up how the greatest achievements of civilization can be achieved only through the transfer of knowledge and people.
