The Health Festival will be held on Saturday, October 3, near Vidikovac in Maksimir
On Saturday, October 3, at Vidikovac in Maksimir, at the Health Festival, find out what you can do for yourself and your health through a multitude of free workshops and lectures by experts. From 9 a.m. until 7 p.m., they will exercise outdoors, cook healthily and learn how to best prepare their body and mind ahead of specific autumns and winters. The Health Festival is organized in partnership with the City of Zagreb, the City Health Office.
Autumn is ideal for new beginnings and changes
In a time of pandemic, we all have one thing in common – health as a prerequisite and priority for us and our loved ones.
In addition to the new virus, the new reality has brought new fears, questions and lifestyle changes. More and more people are interested in a healthier diet, exercise, but also ways to relax that help fight stress.
Autumn is ideal for new beginnings and changes, so why not start healthier this fall?
The health festival begins with a Pilates and yoga workshop
The program of the Health Festival starts at 9.00 am with a Pilates and yoga workshop led by the famous kinesiologist and owner of the Body & Mind studio, Mirela Anić. The panel discussion “How to stay normal in abnormal times” continues, in which experts will discuss the mental aspects and consequences of life in times of pandemic and earthquake.
The City Health Office will also mark the National Breastfeeding Week with free workshops and expert advice for pregnant women – breastfeeding support and babyhandling.
Healthy autumn kitchen workshops by Anita Matić Delić
Another partner of the Bio & bio festival will also have interesting workshops on healthy autumn cuisine by Anita Matić Delić #glumicapakuha and preparation of healthy drinks because we all know how important what we take in with food and drink is important for our immunity. Also, as part of the Bio & bio cafe, visitors will be able to try their specialty coffee, fruit and smoothies.
The importance of movement and the best choice of physical activity will be discussed at the panel discussion “Movement is half the battle” powered by Farmacia Sports Counseling.
