A festival dedicated to pancakes
It will last two weeks at a known location
Folded, wrapped, American, Japanese, Danish – we love pancakes in all versions, and recipes with secret ingredients for the softest and most generous pancakes are passed down from generation to generation. We all remember the first attempts when we tried to bake equally thin pancakes with holes from which marmalade oozes, just like grandma's, but it takes a long way and training to achieve that perfection. This delicacy is both very simple and very demanding to prepare, but that's why they created the sweetest memories for us.
From August 27 to September 8, here's your chance to enjoy pancakes and experience fun moments with kids, family or simply with friends, because famous confectioners with their recipes will make sure that everyone finds their favorite flavor and favorite pancakes.
Pancake acrobatics
And who always makes the best pancakes? Well, grandmothers, of course. In Rougemarin Park, grandmothers will not have to make pancakes, but will taste them. And so that it's not all just about the tasting , the Super Grandma Pancake Race is also ready for the grandmothers, which is just one of the fun events at Panačinka Fest.
Rougemarin Park has become a favorite place this summer, popular for its many fun workshops, which will not be missing at the Palačinka Fest either. This is an ideal opportunity to learn the little secrets of famous masters for preparing the best pancakes, and Marin Medak, Petra Jelenić and Robert Hromalić will show their recipes. Find out how to prepare the best dough, which additives to add and which spreads to create the best flavors. And of course, all of this goes along with fun pancake baking, so this will be an opportunity for visitors to try their hand at throwing pancakes into the air . Come, try it and measure how high your pancake goes!
And don't worry, no real pancakes will be thrown away. Dexterity will also be shown in juggling with pancakes , and the youngest will show their creativity at the pancake art workshops . Children will learn how to make pancakes in various shapes and decorate them with sweet accessories with the help of confectionary animators. There will also be paint&fun , a children's version of the well-known concept of learning to paint while having fun, and the calendar of events will be full of children's shows and animation games.
Every weekday from 5 to 7 p.m., and on weekends from 12 to 2 p.m. , face painting is organized for children. Among the numerous attractions, especially interesting for all ages will be pop-up events such as fire juggling and light-up hula-hoop . There will be no shortage of fun, because in Rougemarin Park, sunny weather with pancakes is expected!
