Croatia gets a Stunt Festival

They will show their stunts – jumps from a height, burning, choreographed fights, falls and stunts with motor vehicles

"Festival of stunts – 3,2,1 action!" – starts in Croatia! Movie heroes who give life to action scenes are coming to Karlovac and Duga Resa on May 24 and 25 . They will be flooded with adrenaline that you don't have the opportunity to feel anywhere except on film.

For the first time in Croatia, the event will give the audience an insight into the world of stunts.

Attractive action scenes that you are used to watching on the small and big screen will take place directly before your eyes. They will show their stunts – jumps from a height, burning, choreographed fights, falls and stunts with motor vehicles. They will introduce you to how to become a stuntman and what the life of a stuntman looks like. All stunts will be performed by trained professionals and for safety reasons visitors should never attempt to perform them on their own.

Stunt sounding names

As many as 17 international participants will take part in the program , and prizes will be awarded for the best stunt in the male and female categories. The following will take part in the Festival: three-time winner of the Taurus world stunt award, Carl Stück from Germany, world-famous stunt coordinator and action producer Rok Cvetkov from Slovenia.

Croatian forces are also coming – Darko Tuškan , a versatile and globally renowned stunt coordinator and assistant action director, and Goran Stjepanović, a stunt coordinator and actor with rich international experience.

Together with Kristijan Milić , a multi-award-winning director, they also form the expert jury that will choose the best stunt in the male and female categories. These are the people who contributed to films such as Matrix, Mission Impossible, Justice League, Street Fighter, Race for Life, Dunkirk, Good Job in Shanghai, Schindler's List, Patriot, Mercenaries, Game of Thrones, Cobra 11 and many other titles.

There will be no shortage of real adrenaline excitement with a lot of positivity, and with direct contact with the performers, the audience will have an unusual experience and real movie magic. The festival is organized by Kino Edison from Karlovac in cooperation with one of the most experienced Croatian stuntmen, Željko Matovina . By bringing together the stunt community and filmmakers, they will highlight the importance of the stunt profession in the film industry and give momentum to the development of stunts in Croatia.
