The artistic research of Luka Kedža’s new work is based on archival material about the show “Nightmare stage by Željko Malnar”.

The approach of the show itself was raw, unfiltered, with a very loose structure with the possibility of using languages and ways of expression that are difficult to imagine on television. As part of a solo exhibition that is part of the Močvara Gallery program, the artist will produce an installation, creating space for critical reflection on the role of the show and the cultural, social and political context in which Željko Malnar created. The rawness of expression (language), the aesthetic dimension of TV trash, green screen and the technology of that time will be connected with today’s communication in the online world. Kejo visually reinterprets the archival material of the show, which he then incorporates into the layers of the spatial installation.
