Indira is named after Indian Prime Minister Indira Gandhi, meaning "living fire". This is the first association with her, especially when it comes to her performances. She started playing music at the age of nine, and founded her first band "FOREVER YOUNG" with four other friends in the eighth grade. However, what determined her career the most and brought recognition was the group COLONIA, which she founded in 1995 with Boris Đurđević and Tomislav Jelić. She remained in the band, which spawned numerous dance hits with which several generations danced, until 2017, when she started her own career.
