The "Yards" project will be held at three locations

From this Friday, July 16, for the next 10 days until Sunday, July 25, it will experience a new, seventh edition

Although in a reduced form and respecting epidemiological measures, with the support of the Zagreb Tourist Board, "DVORIŠTA" opens its doors for the seventh time with the desire to remember the urban summer fun and many smiling moments we spent in Zagreb's upper courtyards.

"YARDS" – this favorite, internationally recognized and awarded cultural and tourist event of the city of Zagreb, from this Friday 16 July, the next 10 days until Sunday 25 July, will experience a new, seventh edition!

Reduced number of locations with the same experience

The locality of Gornji grad, unfortunately, was significantly damaged in the devastating earthquake, which is why the manifestation, along with the pandemic, was not held last year. However, despite such a situation and the limited number of available yards, this year's holding, "YARDS" wants to send a message of optimism – that the Upper Town is still a living space where life, despite everything, did not stop. Because, "every yard has its own story", and the earthquake and pandemic, we hope as soon as possible, will become "only" some new memories and some new stories…

This year's "YARDS", therefore, symbolically open their doors to three currently available locations: in the well-known courtyard of the Balbi Palace at Demetrova 11, and in two locations premiered at the last "YARDS" in 2019 – in the front atrium and backyard Narodno dom HAZU at the addresses Opatička 18 and Dvoranski prečac 1.

Pleasant gastro and music program

"YARDS" will in 10 days – every day from 18 to 24 hours, once again give its visitors the opportunity to peek behind the facades of the upper city palaces and enjoy at least part of their unique beauty.

The experience of "YARDS", as every year, will be enriched with ambient decoration and places to stay, a suitable catering offer and selected, intimate acoustic music programs by which "YARDS", among other things, also became known and recognized, providing an opportunity for many young people. talented, and now established musicians are the first steps in their careers.

Entrance to all yards during the event will be free in compliance with the prescribed epidemiological rules and measures.
