Circus greats are coming to Croatia!

He will put on a lavish two-day show

They come with the play Corteo

Corteo, the most interesting production of Cirque du Soleil, begins its European tour in Split, Croatia, coming to enchant the audience. This unique production, directed by Daniele Finzi Pasca, premiered in Montreal under the Big Top in April 2005. Since its inception, the show has amazed over 9 million viewers, in 20 countries, on 4 continents. The Corteo will be unveiled at the Spaladium Arena on May 20 and 21, 2022.

The Corteo, which means cortege in Italian, is a joyous procession, a solemn parade imagined by a clown. The play combines the actor’s passion with the grace and power of an acrobat to immerse the audience in a theatrical world of entertainment, comedy and spontaneity, set in a mysterious space between heaven and earth.

The set curtains, inspired by the Eiffel Tower, and the central curtains, which are hand-painted, give a grand impression on stage. This sets the tone for Corte’s poetry.
