The city is giving away themed walks in Zagreb

Applications are required by email or phone for individual tours

The Tourist Board of the City of Zagreb is offering all its fellow citizens free tours of the city in the Croatian language this year as well. Starting from the 7th until the 29th of September , everyone interested will have the opportunity to learn something more about their Zagreb. An educational tour of the city accompanied by a tourist guide will last up to two hours, and departures are scheduled on Saturdays and Sundays in the morning and afternoon . The maximum number of participants depends on the selected tour, which are divided into five different tours, as follows:

• Bohemian / artistic walk in Zagreb – a walk based on cult writers, composers and other artists who lived and created in Zagreb (A. Šenoa, V. Lisinski, AG Matoš, I. Meštrović and many others)

Dates : Sundays 8.9., 15.9., 22.9., 29.9.

• Frajerice – This tour is dedicated to women who pushed boundaries, followed dreams, changed society or were simply themselves.

Dates : Sundays 8.9., 15.9., 22.9., 29.9.

Time and place of meeting : 10 a.m., Zrinjevac, south side of the park (by the bust of the great man)

• Family walk in Zagreb – get to know your city through stories and a unique experience intended for the whole family

Dates : Saturdays 7.9., 14.9., 21.9., 28.9.

• For ladies and gentlemen, adventurers – Go back to old Agram and listen to stories about who and why Zagreb was called Agram, how the citizens lived, what they ate and drank, what they did and how they had fun.

• Zagrebarium – Take a walk in the company of a costumed guide who will share with you unusual tidbits about the ingenious people of Zagreb and their discoveries.
