A clash of the best bartenders in the region

Cocktail masters will recreate three cocktails in front of the audience, which made their bars synonymous with good times

On Friday, April 26, the most famous bartenders of the region are coming to Zagreb and mixing cocktails that you haven't had the chance to taste yet. In one of the most beautiful courtyards in Zagreb, that of the Peti Kupe club, at Trnjanska cesta 5, from 4:00 p.m., the Copy Taste event is being held, which brings together leading bartenders from Croatia and the region. They will recreate the signature cocktails that brought them to the regional map of the best – in Zagreb!

Behind every project stands someone who had a vision and an idea about its realization. In the case of the first Copy Taste event, it is the Zagreb bartender, entrepreneur and ambassador of the Brown-Forman company – Dominik Bečvardi and his team from the Peaches&Cream bar, which brings famous cocktail bars from Croatia and the region to Zagreb. Bečvardi has been contributing to the regional bartending scene with his years, ideas and enthusiasm, and this spring he and his team designed an event in which they will first present the lively Zagreb cocktail scene to colleagues from the region, and then their skills to the Zagreb audience at the afternoon event.

"Our region has a fantastic bartending scene, a number of bars run by excellent bartenders, serious enthusiasts and connoisseurs, and I believe that the Zagreb audience will enjoy the cocktails that will be recreated for them. Some of the bartenders and bars of the region are on the lists of the best bars in the world and we bring them to Zagreb. The idea is for visitors to taste the cocktails for which these bars have become famous and recognized, hang out with the bartenders and maybe discover a trick, find out how to mix something better at home, and with some new insight and knowledge make your own cocktail.

In addition to them, Alia Akkman, a woman who sits on the jury of The world's 50 Best Bars organization and who evaluates bars at the European level, is also coming to Copy Tate, which we are especially pleased about. This is the first event we organize in this way and I am sure that everyone who comes will really enjoy it, have a great time and gain an unforgettable experience", says Dominik Bečvardi.

At the Copy Taste event, visitors will enjoy cocktails from seven bars. Albania is represented by Nouvelle Vague , the first bar from this area that managed to enter the list of the 100 best bars in the world as chosen by the organization The World's 50 Best Bars and is in 86th place. The Republic of Serbia will be represented by Riddle Bar . Bosnia and Herzegovina is represented by Okosh Bokosh bar, Slovenia by Silk and Fizz bar, North Macedonia by Casa Bar, Montenegro by Kokotov Rep bar, and Croatia by String's Bar from Split . The aforementioned bars will recreate three cocktails in front of the audience, which have made their bars synonymous with good times, new trends in the industry and (un)repeatable flavors, and show live that recipes can be copied, but flavors can't.

No party is complete without good music

Soul Bader, Mirzaisfab and DJ Frx will make sure that everything runs smoothly during the mixing, and when it gets dark, more precisely from 11:00 p.m., the party moves inside the Peti Kupe club. There, the good fun continues with the Yammat FM Heat Radio team and the music program Taste, where Sani, DJ Leo and Kapela will keep visitors dancing and in a good mood until the early morning.

Entry to the Copy Taste event is free , but since my friend Jack is always generous, the first 200 visitors who download a digital invitation through the Entrio system will be treated to a cocktail. At the Copy Taste event, visitors will be able to pick up free tickets for the Taste event.
