During the day, Melin functions as a daily cafe where you are accompanied by pleasant jazz sounds or retro interior with coffee, and on weekends it gathers jazz fans of all generations when live concerts of great bands are held, which often end with a spontaneous jam session. The wine list is excellent and perfectly complements the atmosphere of an intimate jazz club, so much needed by the city of Zagreb. New Melin is one of those places where you will feel good, and that will be a good enough reason to come back.

The space is filled with interesting retro details like old TVs, refurbished furniture from bulky waste, old university lamps, turntables that give it that cozy atmosphere of some bygone times. Especially interesting is the long bar made of about 50 pressed trumpets that give the space originality and save old instruments from oblivion. Old refurbished televisions serve as tables because the original idea of interior design was the period of the 50s of the last century when the first televisions began to arrive in Zagreb households, and the program of Radio Television Zagreb produced television shows led by Anton Marti that are still remembered today.
