Entrance
The building of the Croatian Music Institute is open to the public every working day from 11 am to 2 pm and one hour before the event. Admission to the exhibitions held in the lobby of the Great Hall is free, and the exhibitions can be viewed half an hour before the event and during the break. Visitors who come after the event has started can enter the hall only during a break or applause.
Dress code
There are no special dress codes for visitors to the Croatian Music Institute. But with your looks, show respect to artists and other visitors. Sneakers and tracksuits, clothing and footwear for hiking, etc. are not desirable.
Dressing room
For safety reasons, but also for the comfort of visitors, coats, bags, backpacks, bags, hats, caps and umbrellas may not be brought into the concert hall. Please leave them in the wardrobes which are free and guarded and located on the ground floor, left and right of the entrance.
Toilets
Men's and women's toilets are located on the ground floor, to the right of the entrance. There are no toilets for children in the Croatian Music Institute, so we ask you to help your little ones go to this place.
Use of mobile devices and video and audio recorders
The use of mobile devices in front of and in the concert hall is not allowed. Video and audio recordings are not allowed.
Television, radio and photographic recording
In the case of photographic, television or radio recording of the event, visitors are asked not to be disturbed. The organizer of the event is not obliged to inform the visitors in advance about the recording and reserves the right to use the recordings, on which they may appear, free of charge for the purpose for which the recording is performed.
Smoking, food and drink
Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the Croatian Music Institute. Bringing food and drinks into the concert hall and consuming them in it is also prohibited.
Flowers for performers
If you want the flowers to be handed to the performer, please hand it over to our staff at the entrance before the start of the event, with a card with the name of the performer and the sender.
Accessibility for people with special needs
The Croatian Music Institute does not have an elevator or toilet for people with special needs. However, visits for people in wheelchairs or with mobility difficulties, as well as for blind and partially sighted people are possible by announcing to the secretariat at hgz@hgz.hr or on the number 01 4830 833 no later than the day before the event. Our staff will be happy to help you.
Lost / found
If you lose personal belongings during your stay in the premises of the Croatian Music Institute, please contact the secretariat as soon as possible, and no later than one month after the loss, at hgz@hgz.hr or on the number 01 4830 833, and you can come in person every working day from 11 until 2 p.m.
