Glyptothek of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts

The Glyptothek is an integral part of the Croatian Academy of Sciences and Arts – a sculpture museum that provides an insight into sculptural work from antiquity to the present day, and for that purpose is a unique institution in Croatia. The presentation of capital sculptural works in one place highlighted the educational significance of the collection, which can satisfy general education, professional and even scientific interests.

The Glyptothek was in 1982. founded the Triennial of Croatian Sculpture, which through its thirty-year tradition has established itself as a recognizable national event, which presents to the Croatian public the best achievements in the field of contemporary sculptural art.
