Sleeping Beauty is one of the most famous fairy tales in the world. In the versions of Charles Perrault and the Brothers Grimm it came to the homes, childhoods and hearts of young and old readers.

In this version of the Cherry Theater, poetically dramatized and adapted by Ivan Leo Lemo, the main fable elements of this story are preserved, but some new episodes with some new characters are also invented. Namely, our Sleeping Beauty is told and choreographed by flower fairies. Each villa is named after one flower, and Princess Ruzica is their beloved godson. Gladiolus, Iris, Hydrangea, Amaryllis, Alstromeria, Magnolia and Degenia, these are the fairies who give blessings to Ruzica after her birth, and the fairy who complicates things is called Passionflower. Also, in this version of Sleeping Beauty, we find out who exactly was the young man who broke through the rose thorns and woke up Rose with a kiss after a hundred years of sleep. We hope that our Sleeping Beauty will tickle children's imagination, contribute to the recognition of good and evil and, like all fairy tales, emphasize the essential importance of love in human lives. As fairies point out, every life becomes a fairy tale when love enters it.
