Hooverphonic

Hooverphonic is a band that has never stuck to the beaten track. Founded in 1995, the band has won the hearts of Croatian fans from the very beginning. For more than 30 years, they have been perfecting their distinctive sound, and Alex Callier (songwriter/producer) and Raymond Geerts (guitarist) have remained the backbone of the band throughout the years. After numerous collaborations with exceptional singers, since 2020 they have once again enjoyed a joint collaboration with the legendary voice of Geike Arnaert.

Over the years, Hooverphonic has evolved from dark trip-hop to a warmer, more orchestral sound, balancing between psychedelia, infectious pop, and a soundscape reminiscent of a non-existent movie. Their musical journey to The Magnificent Tree was marked by innovation, artistic growth, and a commitment to pushing the boundaries of electronic and alternative music.
