The museum is located on the first floor of an old building in the historic part of town, whose windows offer a unique view surrounded by the most famous tourist attractions. ZAGREB was created in the 80's to experience the past in a new way. Its space is a reconstruction of the everyday life of the Zagreb family, in a unique and interactive way that intersects the past and the future, showing the way of life, heritage, memories and emotions. "De ja vu" in a new way.
Make yourself at home. Every guest is welcome to communicate with the entire lineup. All visitors – children, youth, families and adults are guaranteed the pleasure and unique experience of ZAGREB in the 80's.
Zagreb 80s – everything but an ordinary museum
ZAGREB 80s encourages its visitors to touch, feel and interact with the exhibition, to reminisce about moments, smells and feel nostalgia. The young generation is given the opportunity to experience a way of life in the recent, positive past, so well known and appreciated around the world in the 80s. Experience the past of the great things we use every day today, such as video games, personal computers and mobile phones, as well as other significant facilities that really began their rise in the 1980s.
Behind each exhibition object is a private story and a unique origin. Highlighted are the Zastava 750 (obligatory photography inside), the Comodore 64 personal computer, and toys from Mehanotehnika. The exhibition spreads in 6 different rooms, and each of them is full of artifacts.
