Octagon

Octagon is the name for the passage in the building of the former First Croatian Savings Bank in the Lower Town of Zagreb. The whole building was built according to the project of the Croatian architect Josip pl. Vancash, and within it, following the example of the then European cities, the Octagon was built, the first covered pedestrian passage in Zagreb with a central glass dome and stained glass windows.
