For Dino Vukovac’s (aka Prognan) & Teychee’s b-day celebration we are hosting Messiahwaits, a Korean born Berlin-based DJ and producer.

He prefers letting his records speaking for him, letting their beautifully crafted voices, made of snares, high-hats, and bass drums tell his stories. Stories to be heard at night in the dense dark of the dance-floor, soaked in sweat, covered in haze. Messiahwaits is a musical artist through and through. He creates droning atmospheres, fused with repetitive, jacking rhythms and filled with a dark and unsettling aura. He plays with expectations and breaks tonal conventions in his very own way. And it works. And you are going to want more.

Messiahwaits, a DJ who defies genre boundaries with a bold proclamation: “Fuck the Genre.”

He would describe his set as ‘Hyper New Rave’ and believes in breaking free from the confines of a single style. His sets, clocking in at 150-160bpm, seamlessly blend Hard Techno, Hard House, industrial, groovy, Schranz, Psy-trance, dub, acid, and classic Trance sounds. Rejecting monotony, he aims to take his audience on a roller-coaster ride of emotions, offering a musical journey. For him, the mission is simple: “Make People Dancing.” His key idea? “You Should Feel
What I Feel.”

From 2018 to the present, Messiahwaits has shared the stages with renowned artists such as I Hate Models, Amelie
Lens, Shlømo, Boys Noize, Takaaki Itoh, Rødhåd, Tommy Four Seven, Anthony Parasole, Fjaak, Charlotte De Witte, Nina
Kraviz, and many more. As living in Berlin, Messiahwaits appeared on Amelie Lens’ EXHALE Berlin 24HRS events for both 2022 and 2023 in a row and played closing set at
legendary Tresor.

When it comes to his label “MHz”, there were many talented artists released their top tracks including Perc, Charlie Sparks, Yanamaste, Kaiser, Farrago, Voiski, and many more.
