Katran, Zagreb's place for the heaviest parties, will become the scene of the biggest Halloween event this fall. And not only the biggest, but also the longest. Namely, from Monday 28 to Thursday 31 October, the four-day Katran Circus Halloween Festival<\/strong> inspired by the circus awaits you. During the four days of the festival, visitors will be able to enjoy circus performances and visit film makeup, scenography, costume design, circus skills and mobile photography workshops.<\/p>

"All workshops will be led by professionals from the world of theater, film and various art organizations. Some of them have honed their skills on Hollywood sets, and we want to convey exactly that kind of movie experience to the visitors," said the organizer Ring Master, popularly known as Mario Petrekovi\u0107.<\/p>

The festival headliner, as he is called in the organizing team, will be Vara\u017edin journalist Kristijan Petrovi\u0107<\/strong> with many years of experience in telling scary and dark stories. For more than 30 years, he has been engaged in the study of dark folklore, occult and mythological, and to date he has held more than a hundred lectures throughout Lijepa na\u0161a. Under the stage name The Dark Storyteller<\/strong> , Petrovi\u0107 will introduce the audience to the world of history, anthropology, filmography, literature and urban culture. <\/p>

A special place at the festival is also occupied by MakeUp and Wine, a themed event that combines creativity and socializing in a unique way. More precisely, it is a concept that allows you to relax, learn modern make-up techniques and enjoy tasting top wines. Among the special attractions of the festival are the Circus Skills Workshops led by Romano D. Franto,<\/strong> better known by the clown name "Franto". Expect a combination of motivational workshops, performances and animation with the basics of philosophy, theater and music. In short, Franto will definitely bring the last atom of clown out of you.<\/p> Film experts will lead the workshops

Scenographer Boris Sekuli\u0107<\/strong> will take all those interested through scenography workshops in which scenery will be made from recycled materials. Sekuli\u0107 worked on the Netflix hit "Wednesday", as well as the Hollywood films "Gladiator 2" and "Expendables 4".<\/p>

He will be joined by Ivana Pralija<\/strong> , master of masks and specialist in special effects on film. He will lead film make-up workshops, and he will help his participants to become as authentic as possible clowns from the most famous American movies for Halloween.<\/p>

For a complete film experience, participants will not even have to think about costumes, as they will be able to create them independently at the costume design workshop led by Morana Star\u010devi\u0107<\/strong> . Award-winning costume designer who dressed the actors in the films "Everything comes to an end", "You carry me", "The Eighth Commissioner" and "Life is a Trumpet".<\/p>
