Film and gastronomy lovers, get ready! Food Film Festival Zagreb by Coca Cola returns in its jubilee 10th edition, and in a completely retro outfit. From Thursday, August 29 to Saturday, September 7<\/strong> , Dr. Franjo Tu\u0111man Park will be transformed into a magnificent open-air cinema, where visitors will be able to enjoy film classics and various street food delicacies.<\/p> Ten years of a successful film gastro story

Over the past ten years, this project has presented both the citizens of Zagreb and numerous tourists with over 100 screenings of cult and film successes, many of which have been awarded Oscars, as well as numerous films that celebrate food and wonderful children's classics. From the most beautiful park in Zagreb, Zrinjevac, which was his home for 7 years, to the park and Dr. Franjo Tu\u0111man Square, this project was among the first to lay the foundations of street food festivals, street food and family street gatherings in parks. Movies under the stars and outdoor picnics are still today, 10 years later, the perfect escape from the city madness and everyday life that thousands of visitors are happy to visit.<\/p> Film program

This year's celebratory festival takes us back in time through the screening of the most famous film titles that marked each decade, starting from the 1940s until today. From Thursday, some of the best film gems like the iconic Casablanca, Singin' in the rain, Breakfast at Tiffany's<\/strong> , 1.9. Staropramen movie night will also show the inimitable The Godfather<\/strong> , and many visitors expect various surprises, such as Pretty Woman, The Notebook, Inception, The Shawshank Redemption<\/strong> , but also some newer hits such as the artistic Poor Things and Dune: Part 2<\/strong> . One of the most popular new animated films - Wish<\/strong> and the foodie film Ratatouille -<\/strong> will also be on the schedule so that even the youngest can enjoy outdoor entertainment.<\/p> Gastro novelties

In addition to the film, visitors in Tu\u0111manac will be able to enjoy flavors and delicacies from around the world, as well as traditional, local specialties, which this time will be prepared by as many as 10 restaurateurs. The menu will include, among other things, authentic Mexican tacos, smash burgers, Asian specialties such as bao buns, katsu sando sandwiches and gyoza, but also some local specialties with a modern twist such as Skradina risotto in arancini, chickpeas with cuttlefish ), buns with torn pashticada, black risotto, plate with prosciutto and cheese, \u010devapa and many others.<\/p>

For the first time, Chef Duje Pisac is participating in the festival with his Chevap bar<\/strong> , which has experienced expansion and popularity throughout Croatia in a very short time due to its Chevap recipe, and he has just opened his first restaurant in Zagreb. Another Chef coming to the Food Film Festival from Dalmatia, more precisely from \u0160ibenik, is Chef Dino Bebi\u0107<\/strong> , who will present himself with the Lipo Gourmet<\/strong> house, where he will prepare traditional dishes in a modern way. A novelty at the festival is the Oui chef house by Vedran Stojanac,<\/strong> where you will be able to try autochthonous Dalmatian specialties. The rest of the catering offer is well known to visitors from earlier festivals, but no less interesting. <\/p>

Smash bar<\/strong> , which has the most popular smash burgers in Zagreb, will participate in the festival again, and this time it will also present its versions of tortillas, SHANK house<\/strong> , which will offer various Asian dishes, as well as soft serve ice cream, Taboo Taqueria<\/strong> , which will prepare tacos in with various variants, Bit burger<\/strong> with its top-quality burgers, and the Ku\u017eina<\/strong> house, which prepares numerous surprises, including smash tortillas, sandwiches, and some interesting desserts. Mangosta cocktail bar<\/strong> is in charge of the best refreshing cocktails, while at the central bar, cold drinks, draft Staropramen beer, Piena sparkling wine, wines and interesting cocktails will be prepared by the Tipsy street bar, which also brings an interesting combination that will bring visitors back to some past times: Coke float, i.e. Coca-Cola with ice cream!<\/p>
