\"People<\/p> Multi-award winning play People of Wax

The play was premiered at the end of 2016, achieving exceptional success with domestic and foreign audiences and official critics. At the International Festival of Small Stages in Rijeka, author Mate Mati\u0161i\u0107 received the award for best play. At the Maruli\u0107 Days in 2017, the play was awarded the prize for the play as a whole, the award for directing went to Janusz Kica, and the award for best acting achievement to Goran Grgi\u0107 for the role of Viktor. <\/p>

The play also won the Story Hall of Fame 2017 award from Story magazine as the best play of the year. On the 41st days of Fadil Had\u017ei\u0107's satire, the play won four awards and one recognition; the award for the best text went to Mate Mati\u0161i\u0107, the award for directing Janusz Kica, the award Ivo Serdar, for the role best accepted by the audience Ksenija Marinkovi\u0107, one of the five equal acting awards went to Alma Prica, and especially awards for scenography Studio Numen and Ivana Jonka. The Tito Strozzi Award of the Croatian National Theater in Zagreb in 2017 went to Goran Grgi\u0107 for the role of Viktor, while Sini\u0161a Popovi\u0107 was awarded the 2017 Croatian Acting Award for the supporting role of Nikola. Drama triptych People of Wax by Mate Mati\u0161i\u0107 consists of three independent and stylistically different parts, whose main link is Viktor, playwright and screenwriter, former rock guitarist and pop-rock star of the former state, a counterpart to Mati Mati\u0161i\u0107, playwright and screenwriter, former guitarist and the stars of the Yugoslav band Prva ljubav. <\/p>
