Simple Minds concert in Zagreb! <\/p>\n

Simple Minds have postponed most of the dates of their 40 Years of Hits tour to 2021, and Zagreb has also got its place on the new route. The concert at \u0160alata was postponed to Tuesday, July 6, 2021. All tickets purchased for this year's concert are of course valid for the new date. Simple Minds brings their big world tour "40 Years Of Hits" to \u0160alata Stadium. Scottish rock greats are returning to Zagreb to mark four decades of work with a concert that will contain absolutely all the most important songs from the rich opus. <\/p>\n

"We're going to play two long sets," explains frontman Jim Kerr. "The tour has to be special, so we prepared very well. You will hear all the classics and all the great songs, and for hard core fans we will perform things we haven't played in a long time ". The celebration of 40 years of Simple Minds will be marked by a huge world tour, the European part of which has just been discovered. It will include more than 53 arenas and open air concerts in 16 countries, and the culmination is expected at performances at SSE Hydra in Glasgow and, as far as the local audience is concerned, at Zagreb's Salata,<\/a><\/strong> which will be the only date the band has dedicated to our region. <\/p>\n

As an introduction to the anniversary action, the group released as many as two releases – the concert album "Live In The City Of Angels" and the compilation "40: The Best Of 1979 – 2019". The live release was recorded on a long North American tour, while the hit collection is by far the most detailed and comprehensive overview of the fascinating career of one of the island's biggest bands and includes 40 songs, from the megahits "Don't You (Forget About Me)", "Alive & Kicking". \u201cBelfast Child\u201d, \u201cMandela Day\u201d, \u201cPromised You A Miracle\u201d, \u201cGlittering Prize\u201d, \u201cWaterfront\u201d, \u201cSanctify Yourself\u201d, \u201cNew Gold Dream (81, 82, 83, 84)\u201d, \u201cWar Babies\u201d to a new song, a cover of King Creosote\u2019s \u201cFor One Night Only\u201d. All of them will be heard live by our audience on July 13 at the favorite \u0160alata stadium. <\/p>\n

U samom sredi\u0161tu Zagreba, gotovo nadomak Trga Bana Jela\u010di\u0107a, nalazi se \u0160RC \u0160ALATA. Svojom lokacijom, dostupno\u0161\u0107u i \u0161portsko \u2013 rekreacijskim sadr\u017eajima spada u najljep\u0161e \u0161portske objekte ovog dijela Europe.<\/p>\n

Povijest \u0160portsko rekreacijskog centra \u0160alate po\u010dinje jo\u0161 daleke 1928.godine kada su tada\u0161nje gradske vlasti odlu\u010dile zemlji\u0161te koje je tada bilo obraslo dra\u010dem dati u najam Akademskom teniskom klubu .
\nGodine 1929. izgra\u0111eno je sredi\u0161nje tenisko igrali\u0161te ( dana\u0161nje klizali\u0161te ), a 1930. upotpunjuje se klupskom prostorijom i gledali\u0161tem. Od tada kre\u0107e i izgradnja ostalih teniskih igrali\u0161ta i malog bazena .
\nPlivali\u0161te olimpijskih dimenzija \u0160alata izgra\u0111eno je 1946. prema projektu inj\u017eenjera Bahovca, a 1949. zapo\u010dela je gradnja prvog betonskog tornja za skokove u vodu u Hrvatskoj.
\nUmjetno klizali\u0161te izgra\u0111eno je 1961. godine na mjestu nekada\u0161njeg centralnog teniskog terena.<\/p>\n

Ponovna rekonstrukcija cijele \u0160alate zapo\u010dela je dvije godine prije Univerzijade , dakle 1985. godine. Tada je stara ljepotica dobila novo ruho.<\/p>\n

Ukupni kapacitet \u0160alate je 6000 mjesta, odnosno 3500 tisu\u0107a mjesta na tribinama i 2500 na parteru (stadionu), ovisno o programu.<\/p>\n

I zato su se na\u0161le na Divanovom popisu.\r\n\r\nKoncertne dvorane su definitivno klasik, premda su se koncerti po\u010deli odr\u017eavati na tobo\u017ee neobi\u010dnim mjestima diljem grada. Takozvani \"pop up\" koncerti i klupska doga\u0111anja.
