Fascinatingly filmed and edited, with Norma Moriceau’s fantastic, iconic costumes inspired by punk, motorcycle chic and sadomasochistic paraphernalia, and the charismatic Mel Gibson in the title role, this kinetic masterpiece by George Miller is worth experiencing on the big screen.
