4. Arteria – Art Film Week
The fourth edition of Arterija, organized by the Cultural Information Center (KIC), brings Croatian premieres of current documentaries about some of the greatest artistic names of today.
As part of the program, we will watch award-winning film dedications to Japanese visual artist Yayoi Kusama, film giant Orson Welles, Warhol factory star and experimental filmmaker Paul Morrissey, legendary Soviet ballet dancer Rudolf Nureyev, Romanian-Swiss artist and photographer and founder Danayer Eat reporter Lee Miller, and the recently deceased land-art pioneer Christ, known for grandiose installations and building envelopes.
The films will be accompanied by conversations that will use charismatic art figures as a paradigm and an overture to reflect on some of the key issues of contemporary art.
The author of the concept is Emil Matešić and the program selector is Dina Pokrajac.
Admission to all screenings is free with a limited number of seats and adherence to epidemiological measures.
We invite all those interested to book their place at the e-mail address of the Cultural Information Center (arteria@kic.hr) or come an hour before the start of the program.
